The beginning of what seems to be a very interesting arc. Unfortunately chapters will come out less often from now, especially after volume 9 is finished. So if anyone would like to help with cleaning or typesetting you can contact me at mangahelpers. Japanese->English translator would be also great but the chances of our groups getting one (who would be interested in DP) are close to zero ;P.

ReplyDeleteYou're probably not the only one but I didn't feel it at all. It's only a beginning of an arc and it will gradually become more clear who are these two men (and who is Nanpa), what's the idea with bandits and what's Kaizuka's real agenda. Also the reason why it might feel that way is that what you're reading is a translation of a translation (Japanese->French-English) so there are quite a few things lost during this process. Unfortunately we do not have anyone willing (and able) to translate it directly from Japanese.

In fact I was taking into account that I might be banned for writing that. FYI I don't need MH to scanlate Claymore. I can easily access everything there anyway (I don't even have to use foreign proxy for that). I also have Gernot's email address and IM (MSN I think, would have to check) nick. And I wasn't banned permanently (not yet at least) but for about 2 weeks. Number12michael was also banned because he quoted my post xD.
I do not know how to typeset or clean, but point me in the right direction, and I'll learn how to, and do it.

Its not complicated to get one's hands in the (original) raws, but I've been looking for quite a while for the scans of the french version but I'm not able to find them.

You would have to talk to Ikkyusan about it. It's his scans, he probably bought manga out of his own pocket so I'm not at liberty to mirror it without his permission. Also, so far he scanned volume 6-9 only (AFAIK, but if he would have scanned 10+ he would have sent it to me by now) so you would get 1 new chapter (of volume 9).
DeleteI'm sad to see no translator is willing to pick this amazing manga up! It can be raunchy at times(lets be honest that's what makes it so funny), but it has good story and character development! Definitely in my top ten. Have you tried extending your hand to some of the smaller/newer scan groups? If you're still lookin' for help with cleaning I'd love to help out.
